I have walked through life's peaks and valleys and deeply know the weary helplessness of the valley. This piece was born from that very place. It carries a quiet strength — offered gently to you, on your way through the valley.
Named Yunqi,it originates from a classic verse by Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty:
行到水穷处，坐看云起时
Xíng dào shuǐ qióng chù, zuò kàn yún qǐ shí
At the stream's end, it seems there is no way forward. Yet sitting still, you watch white clouds rise — effortless, at peace. To be at ease in the valley — that is the wisdom the ancients left us. Settle your heart, then the turning point will appear on its own.
